It is worth noting that the information found on Acenstry.com for William and his family is under the name of Bontly, obviously a transcription error.

On the LDS transcription of the 1881 census it looks like Williams's surname has been incorrectly copied as BEASLEY. However he is shown as a widower and a farmer of some 36 acres.

William BENTLEY and Hannah HIGGINS were married on 20 Oct 1820 in Biddenden, Kent.6 Hannah HIGGINS was born about 1803.1 She was living on 6 Jun 1841 in Sutton Valence, Kent.3 She was living on 30 Mar 1851 in Podkin, Biddenden, Kent.4 She was buried on 11 Feb 1871 in Biddenden, Kent.6 She died in 1871 in Biddenden, Kent.
