Married to William Lewis who she most likley met through her father who was also a police officer.

Daisy Helen MILLER and William LEWIS were married on 29 Dec 1906 in Kings Cross Wesleyan Chapel, St. Pancras, London.³⁰ William LEWIS (son of Thomas LEWIS and Pheobe JENKINS) was born on 24 Aug 1875 in Llandissilio, Pembrokeshire.³⁸ He died on 28 Feb 1970 in Southall Norwood Hospital, Southall.² Cause of Death

2 Bronchitis He was buried in Mar 1970 in Havelock Cemetery, Southall. Grave No. 66 Section V A Welshman born in Llandissilio, Pembrokeshire, he joined the police in London. When he retired from the police in 1924 he move with his family to Southall. He became an usher at an Ealing court.

Williams joined Metropolitan Police on 27 June 1898 and had warrant number 84166. His first posting was to 'E' Division (Holbern area) with division number E 289. During his carrier with the Metropolitan Police, William received the "Metropolitan Police Coronation Medal - 1902" and the "Metropolitan Police Coronation Medal - 1911". William retired from the police on 29th June 1924 as a sergeant at 'H' Division (Whitchapel area) and had division number H 12. His retirement pension was £195/13/6 (£195.67 1/2p).

William was living in the police house run by his father-in-law to be in 1901.

Daisy Dorothy Gwenllean LEWIS was born on 29 Apr 1909 in 15 Bun Street, Aldgate, City of Westminster.10 She was baptized on 25 Jul 1909 in Wesleyan Methodist Chapel, Liverpool Street, Kings Cross, London.42 Living at 15 Burr Street, London Docks when christened. She died on 19 May 1997 in Wexham Park Hospital, Slough.2 Cause of Death I(a) Myocardial Infarcation (b) Coronary Atherosclerosis II Small Subdral Haemotoma Intra Abdominal Bleed due to Tear of the Aorta. Cerified by Robert Wilson Coroner for East Berkshire after post mortem without inquest. At the time of death, Gwen's home address was 17, St. John's Drive, Windsor, Berks. She had Social Security Number CA 47 72 32 C. Always known as Gwen. She went to St. Saviour's & St. Olave's Grammar School in London. She joined the Civil Service, and at retirement was an EO (Executive Officer) in the Board of Trade. In 1948 Gwen was living at 132, Lady Margaret Road, Southall, Middlesex. When her mother, Daisy, died in 1963 Gwen was bequethed the sum of £620-2-0d (£620.10p). After the death of her father, William, Gwen moved to 17 St. Johns Road, Windsor in 1971. He left her £7362-10-0d (£7362.50p) gross.
