15. Jonathan PAGE was christened on 13 Jun 1830 in Shrivenham, Berkshire. He was born in 1830 in Shrivenham, Berkshire.^2,4,5 Shrivenham is now in modern day Oxfordshire. On the 1871 census Shrivenham is reported as being in Wiltshire. He was living on 6 Jun 1841 in Farringdon Union Workhouse.² He was living on 2 Apr 1871 in 21 Featherstone Terrace, Norwood, Middlesex.⁵ He was living on 3 Apr 1881 in 3 Featherstone Terrace, Norwood, Middlesex.⁶ He died between 1881 and 1891. He is shown as 10 years on on the 1841 census making him born in 1831 where othere census show him as being born about 1833. It is possible that because of the 1841 census being taken in June and other censu being taken in March or April his actual date of date of birth would be April, May or early June (before the 6th) 1932.

On his daughter's (Wilmott Victoria) birth certificate Jonathan is a "Sawyer". Later on her marriage certificate he is show to be a cab driver. According to the 1881 census Jonathan is a General Laborer.

Jonathan appears to have died between 1881 and 1891. The census return for 1891 find his widow lodging with one Thomas Rouse and his famil "Living on Parish Relief".

Jonathan PAGE and Sophia SUTTON were married. Sophia SUTTON was born about 1832 in Halifax, America.⁴ She was living on 3 Apr 1881 in 3 Featherstone Terrace, Norwood, Middlesex.⁶ She was living on 5 Apr 1891 in Featherstone Terrace, Norwood, Middlesex.⁷ By the 1891 census Sophia is widowed and "Living on Parish Relief" while lodging with one Thomas Rouse and his family. According to the 1881 census Sohia was a "Dressmaker".

It also seems to be probable that the 1881 census has confused America with Canada. The 1901 census tells us that her son, George, was born in Canada. As there is a Halifax in Canada it is felt that there was some confussion in 1881. Jonathan PAGE and Sophia SUTTON had the following children:
