William STONE was born before 12 Feb 1797 in Abbots Ann, Hampshire.⁵ He was christened on 12 Feb 1797 in Abbots Ann, Hampshire.² Reference to William Cgirstening found on the IGI C136501 He was buried on 1 Oct 1868 in Quarley, Hampshire.⁶ According to Henry Stone's mariage certificate William is a shepherd.

William STONE and Harriet HUNT were married. There is a reference on the IGI and in Pallots to a wedding of a WIlliam Stone and Harriett Dash in Northwood on the Isle of Wight. This is probably the wron William and Harriett the IoW pair and this pair both appear on the 1851 census. So at the time of righting we do not know the maiden name of Williams wife. Harriet HUNT was born about 1798 in Redham, Fyfield, Hampshire.⁵ William STONE and Harriet HUNT had the following children:
